Pendants

Description:Opals are one of my most favourite stones and if the stories about them being unlucky are true then I’m in for a huge spell of bad luck however I have loved and worn opals for years and I consider myself very lucky, after all I get to work some of the most beautiful stones in the world what could be luckier than that?

This particular Opal is an Australian boulder opal it has a small patch of dark brown iron stone (the parent stone) to the rear of the piece and some lovely swirls of green fire all over the face. Set in a simple 14k gold fill wrap so as not to distract from it gorgeous fire.
Measures approx 4 cm x 1 cm and will be delivered complete with a 14k gold fill chain and presentation box.

Description: According to the poem by Longfellow, “from the full moon fell Nokomis” who went on to become the grandmother of Hiawatha. So this stunning iridescent piece of moonstone is my Nokomis. Set as I love to do in an original mount this one is crafted from sterling silver to complement this beautiful stone.

This piece is so much prettier than the photo’s but getting that blue iridescence to show properly is beyond my skills as a photographer.

I call these pendants silver lace because that is what the detailing reminds me of. The Bali beads that adorn the bottom of the pendant look so delicate and just a little frothy like the prettiest of lace. The central stone that the pendant is created around is a Swarovski Rivoili Crystal I love these crystals not only do they have the swarovski sparkle but the colours are absolutely stunning. The colour of this is called Vitrail and changes beween pink/purple and blue/green. These pendants are hand crafted using both sterling silver (925) and fine silver (999) and Bali beads.

Discription: Dichroic glass is wonderful to set, this particular piece is a total one off with the most amazing array of colours that catch the light and seem almost to move. I called this piece the molten puddle because that is exactly what it reminds me of. The glass was created by one of my wire wrapping students and is one of quite a few pieces that I bought from her a few years ago, she is a really talented glass artist.

I set this in a comparatively simple sterling silver and 14k gold fill mount so as not to distract from the beauty of the glass.

Amethyst Desire is a woven silver pendant. Created using both sterling silver (925) and Fine Silver (999) the design is compleatly organic and just grows. This ensures that no two are ever alike. At the centre of the pendant is a stunning oval faceted amethyst and the pendant is further embellished with silver bali beads.
